🇷🇺Another improvised “grill-caging” of a BMPT. The designers couldn’t handle such a task, so the crew attached some kind of makeshift fencing themselves.

🇨🇳 – A Chinese company, North Heavy (Shenyang) Aviation Equipment has unveiled a new ND MINI reconnaissance-strike drone with vertical takeoff capability.

Its cylindrical body with foldable arms makes the drone highly compact: 65 mm in diameter and 350 mm in height.

This allows a single soldier to carry up to four UAVs at once.

The ND MINI has a maximum speed of 90 km/h, a control range of 4 km, and a payload capacity of 400 grams.

Claimed strike accuracy is within 1 meter, with an effective damage radius of up to 10 meters.

The drone supports automatic target acquisition and strike, features flexible deployment options and is designed to be resistant to EW.

The ND MINI is also intended for swarm operations: more than 10 drones can operate in a coordinated manner on a single mission.

Launch options range from launch containers to deployment from ground and surface platforms.

The presentation also presented a fiber optic–controlled version, which enhances resistance to electronic countermeasures.

🇺🇦A new photo shows a Mirage 2000-5F fighter jet in service with the Ukrainian Air Force. The aircraft is carrying Matra R.550 Magic 2 and a MICA EM Air to Air missiles on its hardpoints.
This marks the first appearance of a Ukrainian Mirage 2000-5F armed with a MICA missile.

🇺🇸 American ‘PAV1 Badger’

Built in the 2000’s by Howe and Howe Technologies, this tiny tank (and it actually is classed as a tank) is designed to be used by police to enter fortified buildings and even fit through standard doorways.
The badger can be armed with various weapons with a romote control weapon station (picture shows a Barret .50 caliber rifle)
The frontal armor on the Badger is strong enough to deflect heavy machinegun fire.

The vehicle is powered by an unspecified 25hp engine.

The Badger holds the record for being the smallest All-Terrain Armored Vehicle according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

🇮🇳 T-90S of the Indian Army fitted with a so-called “grill” (cope cage). The design is quite questionable and, in many aspects already largely useless.

A Reddit user with the username Exciting_Accident_54 shared a photo from his grandfather’s family archive. His grandfather worked on the stabilizer of the XM803 tank.

“Here is a photo of my grandfather and his colleagues sitting on the turret, XM803. He’s the one wearing a hat! I didn’t even know my grandfather worked on a tank until he passed away in 2023,” wrote Exciting_Accident_54.

Such photographs are of great interest to military history researchers, as very few images have survived from the development period of this vehicle, which turned out to be another failure following the MBT-70 program.

Moreover, the photo does not actually show an XM803, but rather the second MBT-70 prototype, which was used during the development of the XM803 and is now preserved in the U.S. Army Armor and Cavalry Collection at Fort Benning.

🇷🇺 / 🇺🇦 A video showing an improvised modernization of a Russian Armed Forces T-80BV tank with the installation of fixed (non-rotating) superstructures. The framework is made from angle iron, chain-link mesh, and unraveled steel cables (107 per side, plus the rear and roof). At the front, rather thin chains are used.
