⚡🇺🇦/🇮🇳— Ukraine has released video evidence showing a underwater drone infiltrating the heavily defended Novorossiysk harbor and detonating its warhead against a Russian Kilo-class attack submarine valued at approximately $350–450 million, highlighting the disruptive impact of low cost, unmanned naval systems against high value assets.

Notably, the Indian Navy operates the same class of submarines, locally designated as the Sindhughosh-class forming a core component of its undersea fleet. While the Indian Navy is a massive force and vastly larger in scale than Pakistan’s, sheer size alone offers no immunity in the era of modern warfare. As this incident illustrates, numerical superiority and expensive platforms can be neutralized by asymmetric, precision sabotage carried out by a smaller adversary employing innovative tactics. The lesson is clear: in contemporary conflict, dominance is no longer measured solely by fleet size, but by adaptability, resilience, and the ability to counter unconventional threats.

Russian FPV drone operator working from an improvised indoor setup somewhere in Ukraine, wearing full camouflage gear and face covering while controlling a first-person-view drone via a handheld controller linked to a laptop showing a live aerial feed. The surrounding radios, cables, and military equipment, along with the utilitarian room and combat style attire, suggest a frontline or rear area drone operations post used for reconnaissance or strike missions.

🇷🇺 — Russian Night Vision Sight | 1PN34 NSPU:

— The 1PN34 NSPU is a Russian first-generation night vision riflescope, developed in the mid-1980s and still seen in service with various armies. Designed to mount on standard Russian rifle rails and man-portable anti-tank launchers, it features an illuminated reticle powered by a dedicated lamp for low light operations. The sight can detect tanks up to 600 m and personnel up to 400 m, with 3.5× magnification and a 50 mm eyepiece. It runs on a 6.25 V power source with up to 6 hours of battery life and supports around 200 recharge cycles. Measuring 458 mm and weighing about 2 kg, the 1PN34 saw extensive use with the Iraqi Army, notably during the Iran–Iraq War and the Second Gulf War, mounted across a wide range of Soviet and Eastern bloc weapons.

🇷🇺 P-15 Termit Anti-Ship Missile (SS-N-2 “Styx”):

The P-15 Termit is an early Soviet anti-ship cruise missile that entered service in 1960, known in NATO as SS-N-2 Styx. It uses active radar homing with a lock-on range of up to 24 km and carries a massive 480 kg high-explosive warhead, positioned to maximize damage using remaining fuel during impact. Flying at subsonic speed (~320 m/s), the missile has an effective engagement range of 8–40 km.
