Beretta against drones
Beretta and DUALEE (formerly ELSEL/Elettronica Melara) recently unveiled a new version of the LIVET RWS for the C-UAS role (counter-drone defense). This version is equipped with 8 Benelli Drone Guardian M4 shotguns.
The “M4 Drone Guardian” is the first semi-automatic smoothbore shotgun optimized for anti-drone defense. Its fundamentally new “Benelli Advanced Impact” barrel design gives the shot charge a higher muzzle velocity compared to traditional shotguns, while also forming a proper shot pattern, ensuring high accuracy and precision.
The LIVET (Light Vehicular Turret) had previously been demonstrated with a .50 caliber machine gun and a 40 mm grenade launcher.
