🔹 2K6 Luna (NATO: FROG-3/5) — Short-Range Ballistic Missile System:

— The 2K6 Luna was an early Soviet short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) system developed during the Cold War for battlefield strike missions. Entering service in the early 1960s, it was intended to deliver conventional or nuclear payloads against troop concentrations, airfields, and logistics hubs.

• Range: ~45–65 km (variant-dependent).
• Guidance: Unguided / inertial (low accuracy).
• Warhead: Conventional HE or tactical nuclear.
• Launcher: Tracked TEL (Luna complex).

Though inaccurate by modern standards, the Luna laid the foundation for later, more precise battlefield missile systems.
