TRACER: Ukrainian airborne ELINT complex

TRACER is a hexacopter-based electronic intelligence (RTR/ELINT) system designed for passive spectrum monitoring and direction finding of ground-based emitters from altitude, helping overcome ground-based RTR limitations caused by the radio horizon.

Frequency range: 300–6000 MHz (expandable with antennas).

Direction-finding accuracy: ~3°.

Detection range: 20+ km for ELRS 1W with directional antenna; up to 15 km for FPV control stations, ~10 km for Mavic controllers, and up to 30 km for radars/long-range UAVs.

Endurance: 50 min
(40 min guaranteed).

Weight: 6.3 kg.

Navigation: Optical, GNSS-free; ~400 m return error over 8 km.

Payload: SDR-based passive ELINT system (no emissions).
