USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN RETURNS HOME AFTER 321 DAYS — 64 SAILORS MEET THEIR BABIES FOR THE FIRST TIME

After 321 days away, the USS Abraham Lincoln has returned to San Diego. For 64 sailors, the homecoming means meeting their babies for the first time. Families lined the waterfront waving American flags as the crew reunited with loved ones after one of the longest U.S. carrier deployments since the Vietnam War. The sailors spent 265 consecutive days at sea without a port call while supporting Operation Epic Fury and maritime security operations in the Middle East.
