BREAKING: FIVE SIBERIAN HOSPITALS REPORTEDLY PLACED UNDER QUARANTINE OVER POSSIBLE PLAGUE OUTBREAK
Five hospitals in Siberia are reportedly under quarantine following concerns over a possible pneumonic plague outbreak. The claim says 28-year-old lab technician Darya Shipilova died after reportedly breaking a test tube containing live Yersinia pestis while handling samples at the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute on September 25. Around 200 people are reportedly under observation, while a mask mandate has been introduced at a major aluminum plant in Irkutsk. U.S. politicians are also reportedly calling for a temporary halt to commercial flights to and from Russia until the situation is clarified.
