📰 INDUSTRY NEWS

⚠️ 333 New WordPress Vulnerabilities In One Week. And That's The Problem.

SolidWP published their January 7 report: → 333 new vulnerabilities in WordPress ecosystem → 253 plugins + 80 themes → 236 still UNPATCHED (71%)

71% of vulnerabilities remain open.

The scale of the problem:

Days, weeks, sometimes months pass between vulnerability disclosure and patch release. Sites get compromised in bulk during that window.

Half of plugin developers notified by Patchstack didn't release a patch before public disclosure.

What this means:
Did you update WordPress yesterday?
What about plugins?
When was the last time you checked all updates are applied?

If the answer is "don't remember" - your site is at risk right now.

At WebHostMost:
✅ Proactive file malware scanning
✅ Multi-layer security system
✅ Automated backup snapshots
✅ Virtual patching from Patchstack for critical vulnerabilities

333 vulnerabilities in one week.
The industry can't keep up.
Can your host?

Stay tuned! 🤓
