Gifts, Stickers… But What About Domains?

Today, TON is at the peak of hype. Everyone is chasing the «quick» trends of gifts and stickers, while the real foundation of the ecosystem is left on the sidelines.

💎 When Durov launched Telegram and TON, it looked like the foundation for a massive ecosystem and future technologies. But now everything is shaky: the infrastructure is in no hurry to develop and support something worthwhile. The priority seems to be stamping out «tokens» and selling them for as much as possible.

💎 WEB3 has done more than anyone to move the domain market forward:
🔣 launched the first domain marketplace on Tolk — webdom
🔣 develops domain utility within the TON ecosystem
🔣 attracts new users and liquidity

😭 And yet, TON Foundation — the entity responsible for the domain zone — does not support us (or any other truly valuable projects). The focus is now on hype toys — gifts and stickers — instead of strengthening the foundation everything stands on.

🧨 Hype comes and goes, but the infrastructure remains. But if TON doesn't develop real Web 3.0 tools, such as domains and services around them, it risks becoming a platform for stickers and gifts rather than the internet of the future.
