Bloomberg: Raiffeisen Partners With Bitpanda to Offer Digital Asset Purchases to 18 Million Customers in Central and Eastern Europe

Raiffeisen Bank International, one of Austria’s major banking groups, will partner with crypto broker Bitpanda to offer digital asset purchases to approximately 18 million customers across Central and Eastern Europe.

The rollout will be gradual across the bank’s regional subsidiaries. Bitpanda already provides similar services to banks including Germany’s N26.

The initiative is among the first major moves by Raiffeisen Bank International CEO Michael Hoellerer, who is expected to announce a new strategy for the bank later this month. — link
