🇪🇬 Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi says Egypt will take
whatever measures are necessary
to defend Saudi Arabia if requested, amid escalating Houthi attacks on the kingdom.
Sisi has called for an emergency parliamentary session on October 18 to authorize possible defensive action, stressing that Egypt does not seek to attack any country.
