From 8 to 12 October, the Ministry of Home Affairs deployed 221 Central Armed Police Forces companies (approx. 23,000 personnel) to support Delhi Police during protests, marking one of the largest central force deployments in the national capital.
These include 111 companies made available in view of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protests in July, and 110 sanctioned on 6 October.
