🇮🇳 India’s Supreme Court on October 5 declined to suspend CEC Gyanesh Kumar on an interim basis over allegations that key ECI decisions were taken unilaterally.

♦️ A three-judge bench led by CJI Surya Kant issued notices to the Centre, ECI, CEC Gyanesh Kumar and Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi.

♦️ The respondents have one week to respond. The allegations remain under judicial consideration.
