🇬🇧 British counter-terrorism police have formally charged two Iranian nationals with preparing acts of terrorism linked to an alleged plot targeting the Jewish community in Greater Manchester.
The Metropolitan Police identified the suspects as Salam Ahmadyan, 36, of Liverpool, and Rahman Salehi, 34 (reported as 35 by some outlets), of Salford.
The charges follow a long-running, proactive investigation conducted alongside the UK security services.
