THIS IS NOT A COINCIDENCE
THIS IS PURE EVIL.
Taylor Swift’s song ‘Patient Zero’ dropped September 25, 2026.
That same day, a scientist at Russia’s Anti-Plague Institute broke a tube of live plague bacteria.
She died on October 2…the day the song hit No. 1.
September 25 is exactly 6 years, 6 months, and 6 days after March 19, 2020, when the U.S. began Covid lockdowns. (Ht @digjordan)

“Patient Zero” is about a toxic relationship treated as a contagious illness, told from the perspective of the first woman who went through it.
The song, released September 25, 2026, as a single from The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, is framed as a one-sided phone call. The narrator is talking to a woman who is now dating her ex and is starting to see the same problems. The hook is:
“But if you’re sick of him, I got you, I was patient zero.”
She calls herself patient zero because she was the first one “infected” by his behavior — charm that masks something darker (“the devil on his shoulder under his halo”), love-bombing, cheating, boredom once the chase ends, and using a partner’s status. The medical language (toxins, fever, being sick of him) runs through the track.
The tone is supportive rather than competitive: she already walked away and is offering the new girlfriend the notes.
