-21,745 children have been killed by Israel in Gaza since October 7, 2023.

21,745 children under the age of 18 have been killed and around 46,000 wounded, including 11,000 cases of lower-limb amputations.

-123 children died from malnutrition and dehydration, while 293 premature newborns died amid the deterioration of health services and shortages of medicines.

-Around 700,000 children have been deprived of basic rights, including healthcare, education, and adequate housing, while around 300,000 children under the age of 5 have suffered from malnutrition and starvation.

Israeli army spokesperson:
Israeli army soldiers identified a “suspect” who attempted to infiltrate an Israeli army post in the security zone in southern Syria. After identifying him, the soldiers opened fire and killed him.

“We extend our condolences to the families of the 2 departed women and to all Christians in Gaza and Palestine. We share their grief and pain, affirming that their grief is our grief and their pain is our pain.

We affirm that Palestinian Christians are an integral part of our people, identity, and civilization, and that all Palestinians are one people and partners in the land, homeland, and destiny.

We affirm that the Palestinian suffering in Gaza is one and does not distinguish between Muslims and Christians, just as the brutal Zionist aggression does not distinguish between a mosque and a church.

We affirm that the Palestinian people, in all their components, will remain attached to their land and rights and committed to their aspiration for freedom and dignity.

We remember the 2 departed women, ‘Umm Michel’ and ‘Umm Fouad,’ who endured Gaza’s ordeal alongside their people, shared the hunger and suffering of its people, and served their people, making their loss a source of profound grief for all our people.

We ask Allah to grant the families of the 2 departed women patience and tranquility, protect the people of Gaza and Palestine, lift this ordeal from them, and grant our people security, freedom, and peace.”
