When there was backlash among Arabs against Saudi Arabia for hosting concerts at the height of the Israeli massacres in Gaza, many Saudis posted videos gloating over the suffering of the people of Gaza.
Some even changed the lyrics of the “Saudia, Na Na” song performed by American singer Camila Cabello on November 13, 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to:
“Saudia, na na!
We do as we please.
We do whatever we want.
Keep your values and principles to yourselves.
We know our culture and values.
Leave us alone. Our Mohammed bin Salman and Turki Al-Sheikh can do whatever they wish.”
