Al-Qassam Brigades released footage of its fighter Muhammad Maher Abu Jasser, who shot an Israeli sniper with a pistol from behind a wall during the Great March of Return in 2021.
The sniper was shooting at Palestinian children, women, and other civilians.
The Israeli sniper, Barel Hadaria Shmueli, a 21-year-old Israeli Border Police officer, died of his wounds on August 30, 2021, nine days after Maher shot him.
During the Great March of Return, Israeli army snipers killed 214 Palestinians, including 46 children, and maimed over 36,100 Palestinians, including over 8,800 children.
