The official narrative says the alleged suspect, the Flydubai flight co-pilot in the alleged hijacking incident, is an Omani citizen.
1- Omani citizens are not allowed to travel to Israel.
2- There were reports that 2 posts appeared on his LinkedIn account after the incident: a video showing Israeli El Al planes in the UAE and a photo related to the terrorist organization al-Qaeda.
This is very strange, considering that Omanis are Ibadis, while terrorist al-Qaeda follows a Salafi ideology. If he were Saudi or Emirati, a claimed ideological link of this kind might be more believable.
