WHITE HOUSE PREPARES ACTION ON RECORD U.S. DIESEL PRICES

Washington is pressuring Europe to release emergency fuel reserves as the White House prepares an executive order aimed at tackling record-high U.S. diesel prices.

The order could be unveiled as early as next week, according to people familiar with the process.
