TRUMP CONSIDERS PREEMPTIVE PARDONS

President Trump says he would consider preemptively pardoning members of his administration before leaving office, potentially protecting them from future federal prosecution.

Asked by Time whether he would issue such pardons, Trump said: “Yeah, sure I’d do that.”

Trump cited former President Biden’s preemptive pardons in 2025 as a precedent.
