UBS: HIGHER INTEREST RATES COULD BENEFIT HEDGE FUNDS

UBS says the current environment of elevated interest rates could support hedge fund performance, citing historical resilience during monetary tightening.

Hedge funds have generated positive cumulative returns during every Fed tightening cycle since 1994, according to UBS strategists.

However, higher rates do not guarantee stronger returns, making diversification across selected strategies important.
