TRUMP REJECTS IRAN’S HORMUZ DEAL

President Trump said he rejected Iran’s proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and halt regional fighting within seven days.

Iran had presented the plan through Qatari mediators, offering to reopen the critical shipping route as part of a broader pause in hostilities.

Trump said Iran urgently wants a deal because of mounting economic pressure, while leaving the door open to further negotiations.
