Also, the reason I suspect it is not being discussed publicly is because I know for a fact this is a new and emerging threat which seems hyper-focused on one particular industry.
My educated guess is that my colleagues and peers are remaining quiet and wanting to gather more intelligence ... or they're wanting to hold it all to themselves to bring more market value to their company shareholders, or something. Either way, that isn't a decision the nerds can make and made entirely by the non-nerds (suits)
