We are pleased to announce the release of VoltageOS 6.0 with the August 2026 security patch (android-17.0.0_r1). While this initial build is primarily a clean rebase on Android 17 with minimal ROM-side additions, it brings several useful platform features:

• A native, system-level App Lock with biometric and PIN authentication.
• Option to create Home Screen Folders from the Files app.
• Native support for LHDC high-resolution Bluetooth audio codecs.
• Improves background resource management, blur performance and battery efficiency under the hood.

Expect builds anytime from tomorrow.
