Blockchain gaming has always had an awkward trade-off:
More onchain interaction usually means more gas, more waiting, and more competition for blockspace.
For games built around real-time interaction, that friction matters.
The interesting question is whether dynamic execution environments can make onchain gameplay feel closer to a normal game, while keeping the activity fully onchain.
That’s the infrastructure shift worth watching.
