Original “View” co-host Debbie Matenopoulos becomes overwhelmed with emotion and tells the panel Lindsey Clancy belongs IN JAIL!

“I can’t, AS A MOM, think that’s okay. If I were in that courtroom, I would put her in jail.”

Joy Behar pushed back, asking whether Clancy belongs in a psychiatric institute instead.

Debbie gave the perfect mom answer. She said the deaths of three innocent children are impossible to ignore, and it hits her too emotionally to see it any other way.

With moms on social media rallying around Clancy, the last place you’d expect a moment of sanity is on The View.

Kudos to Debbie. She got this absolutely right. Even the audience was on her side.
