Charlie Kirk's family is now going after UVU, revealing the university's police chief texted "I GOT YOU COVERED" about the rooftops overlooking the quad.

His alleged assassin Tyler Robinson took his shooting position from the roof of the building next door.

Kirk's family says the death was entirely preventable, but the university failed. Now lawsuits are coming.

Only 6 of the campus's 15 officers covered an event of about 3,000 people.

The chief asked the university president for more resources. The president said no.
