= be so overloaded with work that it’s difficult to cope
Girl, I’d love to see you this week, but I’m completely snowed under with assignments 😣
🤎be stretched thin
= have so many demands on your time and energy that you can’t give enough attention to everything
Let’s take a look at my schedule, hmm 🤔 So first I work, after that — aha — work, and then I work some more. No wonder I’m feeling stretched thin…

= manage to cope with a difficult situation, but only just
This September is not about thriving, it’s about keeping my head above water — and I’m ok with it

= start something and immediately work with lots of energy and intensity
Sometimes you have like twelve seconds to adjust before you hit the ground running 😘

= respond successfully to a difficult situation and prove capable of handling it
The workload might look scary now but give me another week and I’ll rise to the challenge out of pure spite 😈
