boltz is first open-source (3.5+ starts) commercial foundational model to achieve AlphaFold3 performance and the team has since developed capabilities beyond AlphaFold3. All the top 20 pharma companies already use their models. Now in a team of 11 researchers and engineers they are building the software layer for AI-based drug discovery.

They are now turning that technology into a complete platform that scientists will use daily to design new medicines.

As a backend engineer in an early team, you will be responsible for building the infrastructure for running simulations and other backend services for the platform.

What they are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in backend and distributed systems
- proficiency in any of the traditional language like Python, Golang, Java, C++, Rust.
- strong system design skills
- builder mindset, early team and early product require dedication

They are offering:
- base comp is circa £120-160k/year
- UK visa sponsorship
