Aspect Health is building an AI co-pilot for lifestyle-driven chronic conditions. In the last eight months, we’ve grown 1000% 😲 — scaling our ARR from $250K to $2.5M. We recently secured a $7M seed round backed by notable investors such as Lux, a16z, Sequoia, Long Journey Ventures, Valor, the founders of Flo Health, Deel, and more.

Role Overview:
This role is half focused on leading our engineering team, half on hands-on coding—building out the mobile and backend systems that power our platform. You’ll join a pivotal stage in Aspect’s growth, working directly with our CPO to shape and execute the engineering vision.

What We’re Looking For:
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record building systems from 0→1—taking a product from concept to production-level deployment.
- Strong background in backend development (Node.js, TypeScript, Express/NestJS, PostgreSQL), including microservices and asynchronous communication patterns.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams (developers, QA, product managers), establishing clear processes (e.g., agile/scrum) and delivering on tight timelines.
- Hands-on coding ability—capable of writing and reviewing production code while driving architectural decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
