We need to carry out an urgent security maintenance on several VPS host nodes on July 7, 2026.

This work is related to CVE-2026-53359, also referred to as “Januscape”, a recently disclosed vulnerability affecting the Linux KVM hypervisor. KVM is widely used in the hosting industry to provide virtual machine isolation. The vulnerability concerns the boundary between guest virtual machines and the physical host system.

As part of our security response, we will update the host node kernels and reboot the affected nodes. A host reboot is required for the security update to take effect, so a short service interruption cannot be avoided.

Maintenance window

July 7, 2026, 16:00 – 16:30 CEST

The maintenance will be performed gradually across the affected nodes. Your VPS may be powered off cleanly while its host node is patched and restarted. In most cases, the interruption should last approximately 10–30 minutes.

After the host node has completed its reboot, VPS instances configured to start automatically will be brought back online.

Important notes

* This maintenance does not change your VPS data, disks, network configuration, or IP addresses.
* No customer-side action is required for the host-level security fix.
* We still recommend keeping the operating system inside your VPS updated as part of normal security practice.

If your service requires special attention due to reboot-sensitive workloads, please contact our support team before the maintenance window through the client area.

本次维护将按节点逐步进行。您的 VPS 可能会在其所在宿主节点更新和重启期间被正常关机。大多数情况下，单台 VPS 的中断时间预计约为 10–30 分钟。

宿主节点重启完成后，已设置为随宿主机启动的 VPS 将会自动恢复开机。
