👍 Ural Federal University has improved its position in the Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRES) 2026.

🤩🌍 UrFU International Students at Met with AIS Leadership

💖 As part of the International Festival of Youth, UrFU international students met with the leadership of the Association of International Students of Russia (AIS).

🗣️ Alcindor Robenson, Deputy President of AIS, spoke about the association's history — founded in 1996, it now unites 28 branches across Russia.

📝 He also announced upcoming projects: the All Russian Congress of Associations of International Students, sports tournaments, a Russian language Olympiad, and a grant competition.

👨‍🏫"Russia is a country where every international student can find themselves and realize their potential. Over the years, the association has achieved a great deal, but further development is impossible without your energy and involvement," noted Alcindor Robenson.

❓Students asked questions about migration legislation, adaptation, and the work of diaspora communities.

"I was convinced that international students are not left alone with their difficulties: if problems arise, they can always turn to qualified help. It is especially valuable that such meetings make us feel part of a large and friendly university family," shared Mekhrona Ergasheva, an UrFU student from Tajikistan.

✨💖 International Festival of Youth Concluded with Large-Scale Ceremony

💃 The closing ceremony featured renowned musicians, ensembles, and conductors — with more than 1,000 performers on stage. Russian cosmonauts from the ISS and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov also addressed the audience.

"What unites you all is youth, a thirst for knowledge, and the desire to find solutions to the most complex challenges. Russia today is a country of such opportunities — and we want them to be available to young people from all over the world," said Sergey Lavrov.

🫂The ceremony was built around the idea that music brings people together, overcomes barriers, and inspires great achievements. 🎶
