Geoffrey Bettley was dismissed by St Mary’s School in West Yorks in 2011 after 200 sick child abuse images were found on his computer.

In a decision ratified by the Education Secretary at the time he was allowed to remain a teacher.

The Education Secretary was Michael Gove.
