Green Party candidate Ingrid Dodd has won the Guston by-election in Dover after a 3 way split between 'right of centre' parties.
Between Reform, Tories and Restore they won 55.3% of the vote yet the Greens took it on 28.8%.
The Greens are now saying that this is a clear mandate from the people for further immigration and legal routes to enter the UK rather than using the small boats.
If such a result plays out at the UK General Election with a 3 way split like this Labour would win a thumping majority.
