The chairman of the Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW) has been arrested on suspicion of fraud.

Tiff Lynch was one of four senior members of the organisation detained at the organisation’s headquarters in Leatherhead, Surrey, on Tuesday, as part of an investigation into corruption allegations. It is understood that John Partington, the federation’s general secretary, was also arrested.
