We’re excited to introduce our new lecture series, a project of Unitraining - an educational company that is delivering practical, high-quality professional training programs in Israel.

The idea behind the lecture series is to invite not professional speakers, but people who are truly passionate about their field - practitioners who work in the profession they talk about and are eager to share their knowledge. I want to create a space for exchanging ideas and building connections. We plan to host both Russian-speaking and Israeli lecturers, so the main language of the events will be English.

Here you’ll find announcements of upcoming lectures — approximately once a month. Some of them will be donation-based, while others will have a fixed fee depending on the speaker and topic. All lectures will take place in a cozy classroom at Migdal HaShalom, a historic skyscraper in the heart of Tel Aviv, just next to the Allenby light rail station.

The first lecture of the season is Fedor Zomba's "AI Thinking for Regular People: How to Cut Through the Hype and Find Real Value" on 05.10.2025

Every day brings new AI tools, each promising a “revolution.” How do you separate what’s genuinely useful from marketing noise? How do you develop “AI thinking” without becoming a tech expert?
This session focuses less on specific tools (though I’ll show several live examples) and more on developing an approach to working with AI:

- Think in problems, not technologies - Instead of asking “what can ChatGPT do,” ask “what’s eating up my time”
- A simple evaluation system - 5 questions that help you filter hype from real utility
- How to follow AI news without overload
- Sources, signals, and what actually matters
Experimental mindset
- How to safely test new tools in your actual work
- The automation-control balance
- Where AI helps and where it can hurt

Format: Live thinking + demonstrations + practical frameworks you can use on your own.

What you’ll get: Not a list of tools (they become outdated quickly), but a way of thinking that helps you independently find and evaluate AI solutions for your specific needs. Plus an understanding of how to navigate the news flood and identify what’s actually important.

This is for anyone who wants to use AI effectively without getting lost in the technical details or falling for every new announcement.
