Middle Data Engineer — Snowflake / dbt / Finance Data / AI

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong Snowflake, dbt, and finance data experience to join a team unifying data from a dozen-plus acquired businesses into a single trusted source for FP&A, executive reporting, and AI-driven analytics.

Salary: $600 – $800 (Net) + performance-based bonus
Format: Remote

Core Requirements
- Strong experience with Snowflake
- Strong experience with dbt and data modelling
- Experience working with Salesforce (SFDC) data
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite or similar ERP data
- Solid understanding of finance and SaaS metrics: bookings, billings, revenue, deferred revenue, revenue recognition, churn, ARR, and NRR
- Experience integrating Excel and flat-file data into a data warehouse
- Experience normalizing data from multiple disparate systems into one format
- Experience building a unified customer master without shared customer IDs

Nice to Have
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning
- Experience with post-acquisition data integration
- Experience with AI-assisted dbt development
- Experience with MCPs, LLMs, or building a context layer on top of data
- Experience enabling natural-language data access through Claude or Copilot

What You'll Work On
- Building and maintaining Snowflake and dbt data models
- Connecting finance data from spreadsheets and flat files
- Creating a golden dataset linking Salesforce to billings, revenue, ARR, and contracts
- Integrating and normalizing data from acquired companies' systems
- Building a unified customer master across all business units
- Delivering data for executive leadership dashboards
- Preparing the data foundation for an AI context layer and LLM-based access
