Sanctions are working, slowly but they are working, Medvedev sperged out last week about the new sanctions and now Peskov is coping. The goal of the sanctions should be to make life as miserable or hard for the normal Russian as possible, in return hopefully we’ll see civil disobedience and pressure on the kremlin.

We have said it before but the best sanction would be to stop all Russians from entering the EU unless you sign a form condemning the Putin regime. Russians love holidaying in beautiful Italy or sunny Spain, take this away from them and you’ll start to see more pressure from regular Russians about ending the war.
