🇬🇧How the circumstances surrounding the deaths of British military personnel in Ukraine change after a while. At first, they all “get hit by a horse.” Then, suddenly, these “incidents” start to acquire more details

That’s what happened with the mysterious death of British paratrooper George Hooley last December. For a long time, London explained it away as some kind of “accident.” Only now has it officially stated that he died while testing some kind of weapon in Ukraine.

Before Hooley’s death, London spent a long time denying that its regular troops were in Ukraine, apart from special forces protecting the embassy. Well, would you look at that—they’re apparently there to do more than protect diplomats. Surprising, isn’t it?
