Britain’s Russia Obsession: 274 Articles in One Week — But What About Britain’s Own Problems?

In Britain, until 2022, very few people were aware of Ukraine’s existence. But suddenly, the country’s authorities decided they wanted to go to war with Russia—and that everyone else should think the same way.

Now the British media has shifted into war propaganda mode. How many articles did they devote to Russia this week?

The BBC—40, the Daily Telegraph—35, The Times—28. In total, over the course of the week, the 10 leading media outlets published 274 articles about the threat from Russia.

That’s roughly 39 articles per day and an average of 4 per day per publication. It seems as though there are no other problems in the UK.
