Brandon Fugal’s team at Skinwalker Ranch says they recovered both metallic fragments and ceramic-like pieces while drilling into the mesa over several years.

Most of these accounts come from the History Channel series The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch and follow-up interviews.

The pieces were typically found in the drilling spoils: the loose material brought to the surface, rather than as intact cores.

After the drill struck hard objects, an archaeologist on the team sifted through the piles.

Reported depths differ by season and borehole:

1. Earlier holes hit resistance and produced metallic flakes between roughly 130 and 280 feet.

2. Later drilling encountered hard spots around 380–470 feet; ceramic fragments then turned up in the spoils.

3. More recent vertical holes drilled from the top of the mesa yielded additional metal flakes and ceramic material at shallower levels, including about 33 feet and 60–70 feet.

It’s possible that the Ranch sits over a very old, UAP Crash or Remnants of a crash site from thousands of years ago.
