A single compromised verifier let $292M of rsETH leave KelpDAO in April. @LayerZero_Core's answer: a verifier that can refuse to sign.
- DVN = independent checker that confirms a cross-chain message before it lands
- Bridge Sentinel by @blockaid_ also screens: was the burn real, who gets the funds (drainers, exploiters, sanctioned), mint caps, admin/DVN changes
- opt-in for OFT issuers. Binding only as a REQUIRED DVN: flagged = held or refused, no mint
📡 Oct 10: not in LayerZero's public DVN registry yet, no on-chain address to check
Hold a bridged token? Ask the issuer which DVNs are required
