I thank everyone who has congratulated me on Teacher's Day 🥰 It's celebrated on the first Sunday of October in Russia. I wish all my colleagues a happy holiday 💐 May your work be truly creative, interesting for you and your students, well-paid, and free from unnecessary paperwork and reports.

It was thanks to my many years of professional experience that I met Russell 🥰 in April 2016. I saw my student in a video on Russell's VK page, where he and his comrades from the 'Essence of Time' special tactical group were donating items from their fallen comrades to a museum. I left my comment below the video in English :)

From that moment on, I began to help the guys from 'Essence of Time', Russell, and the Donbass Humanitarian Aid foundation in which Russell was the vice president, so on the information front, on a personal and volunteer basis. Prior to April 2016, I had spent 17 years doing what I loved - teaching English in schools, at a teacher training college, in a language school, and as a tutor :)

I always remember all my colleagues and students with joy and a smile and have always had pretty good relationships with all of them. Several of my students have followed in my footsteps, dedicating their lives to languages and surpassing their teacher. Who was the philosopher who said, "If a student surpasses their teacher, the teacher has succeeded"?
