Этот праздник тоже, как и 9 мая, одновременно и радостный, и со слезами на глазах, потому что 31 августа 2018 года убили Первого Главу ДНР А.С. Захарченко. С ним погиб его охранник, были ранены несколько человек. Также мы вспоминаем, что во многих шахтёрских семьях Донбасса отец или сын когда-то не вернулся со смены. Вечная память и Царствие Небесное всем погибшим.
Из моих детских воспоминаний: лето, папа на смене ГРОЗом (шахта им.Челюскинцев в Петровском районе Донецка), я играю возле дома с другими детьми; и вдруг начинает валить сильный дым как раз с шахты Челюскинцев. Я не знаю, что случилось, что с папой, где он, ещё глубоко под землёй или уже выехал на поверхность. Стресс колоссальный. От незнания, что с твоим родным человеком. Через несколько долго тянувшихся часов папа вернулся домой. Ребёнком я навсегда запомнила тот ужас, поселившийся навсегда, что папа может не вернуться. И очень гордилась, что мой папа - шахтёр, что он такой смелый!
Рассел тоже, кстати, очень уважал и высоко ценил шахтёрский опасный труд, всегда в интервью, если заходила об этом речь, рассказывал о мужестве шахтёров Донбасса, воевавших в ополчении в 2014 году против киевской хунты, устроившей госпереворот.✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

From my childhood memories: summer, my Dad, a stope miner, was on his shift (the mine named after Chelyuskintsev in Petrovsky district of Donetsk), I was playing near our block of flats with the other children; and suddenly heavy smoke started pouring from the Chelyuskintsev mine. I did not know what had happened to Dad, where he was, if he was still deep underground or had already come to the surface. The stress was huge. Not knowing what was happening to your loved Dad. After a few long hours, he returned home. As a child, I remember the fear that my father might not come back from his work. But I was so proud that my father was a miner, that he was so courageous!
