Ukrainian border guards, while chasing a man attempting to cross the Dniester River, were swept into Moldova by the current, where they were detained.

According to a representative of the State Border Guard Service, Demychenko, the border guards spotted the man and pursued him in a boat. Despite the man's resistance, they managed to catch up to him, but the boat's engine stalled, and the current carried it towards the Moldovan shore.

There, a group of people met them and pulled the boat ashore. Then, the police arrived and detained the man who was attempting to cross the Dniester. His current whereabouts are unknown.
