"EU leaders will urge Zelensky to be more restrained in his criticism of Trump": European leaders will ask Zelensky to communicate with Trump "more gently."

"The sharp criticism from the Ukrainian leader shocked EU leaders, who will meet with him in Brussels on Friday and urge him to soften his rhetoric. The reason for this is Zelensky's statements, in which he criticized Trump's deal with Russia on diesel and called the cessation of US support "dangerous."

Sources within the publication note that the relationship between Zelensky and the American president has deteriorated to such an extent that it is unlikely to be repaired."
