In St. Petersburg, an accomplice to Ukrainian terrorists has been sentenced.

It is known that the man, born in 1987, proactively contacted representatives of the terrorist organization "Legion "Freedom of Russia" to carry out their instructions and tasks in the city of St. Petersburg.

The terrorist organizers used the man as a courier for the transfer of various items, including phones and SIM cards for communication with other agents, components for assembling homemade explosive devices, and also used his services for reconnaissance of various objects in the northern capital.

During the investigation of the criminal case, the man fully admitted his guilt. Yesterday, the 1st Western District Military Court found him guilty on eight counts of particularly serious articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, including treason, participation in the activities of a terrorist organization, and assisting in sabotage activities. The court sentenced him to 16 years of imprisonment.
