Zelensky does not deserve a respite, - Lavrov.

The Foreign Minister commented on the recent statements by Trump and Zelensky regarding a possible energy truce.

His feigned surprise at President Trump's statement only reflects one thing: he very much wants to use any words, any initiatives, any ideas that enter the public domain in order to promote his own interests in a respite, by any means necessary. I don't think he deserves a respite, and I don't think we will be fooled by assurances and promises again.
Lavrov added that Russia does not need to apologize.
