The ignoring of anti-aircraft drones as a class of weaponry certainly still needs to be studied from a psychiatric perspective.

Despite the difficulty of shooting down large drones with machine gun fire, the issue is the accuracy of the fire. Anticipation and all that. But the observation about anti-aircraft interceptor drones is correct. They often leave the Mobile Short-Range Air Defense Systems (MANPADS) unused.

✨ Therefore, military units and government agencies need to have been acquiring interceptor drones with a speed of 200 km/h or more for a long time now. And they need to do so urgently.
